By understanding where we are now, by creating awareness, energy and focus toward what it is we want and by removing any self-created obstacles to our goals we can more easily achieve the life we wish for ourselves. In exploring our attitudes, beliefs and behavior patterns, we can discover where we are in the process of creating our compelling future lives. Often, the most insidious reasons for not having what we want have to do with beliefs, attitudes and behavioral patterns that have been programmed into us–through our parents, our early social environment and our experiences. In many cases we are not even aware of these subconscious programs.
These subconscious programs affect not only what we perceive but how we perceive it. They not only drive our perceptions but the way we move through the world, how we relate to the world and what kind of “vibe” we give off to other people.
Goal setting is asking the universe to give us something. In order to fully create our goals, it helps to energize them in certain ways. Affirmations and positive thinking may not be enough. Our beliefs must be aligned with our goals, both consciously and unconsciously–and they must be energized!
Goals must be crafted in the language of the subconscious–the language of our senses and experiences. The more we imbue the mental representation of our goal with positive feelings., the further our mind is drawn into creating that goal for us. The more aligned we are, consciously and unconsciously to our goals, the more we resonate with those people, things and events that can help us reach our goals.
The mindset that keeps us from getting all of what we want springs from beliefs, attitudes and behavioral patterns that rest in the subconscious mind. Those subconscious programs can be changed to help us lead more fulfilling lives with more fulfilling relationships in them.
Though most folks don’t know how to change this unconscious programming, a simple set of directed explorations can shift for us, those roadblocks to having a successful relationship.
